Good peoplemto work with. Due to corporate restructuring, my entire inside sales division was laid off. Otherwise, I would still be there. This has been a very rewarding career for my personal and professional development. Working on such products gives me the biggest satisfaction.

In short, I wouldn't recommend working at Skillsoft after my time there as they are struggling to figure out what their strategy is and they've had a dearth of leadership and lack of a CEO. Many of the management staff has a large amount of knowledge and is receptive to questions.

The hardest part of the job is seeing the varying different degrees of work ethic and how not every individual is held to the same standards. No job will ever be enough if you aren't happy in the field itself. No perks, no pay, nothing. Skillsoft provides great training, one on one and team. However since it was sold to a UK Private Equity firm the company has gone straight down. The management team is useless and loves blaming their employees for their failures instead of looking in the mirror.

Don't get me wrong the employees working in the trenches are great and quite honestly the only reason I am still at Skillsoft.
