We liked visiting the historic district and seeing so many sites that were critical to our country's birth. We didn't like the many bums and vagrants hanging around everywhere. We didn't feel comfortable when we were out of the tourist section. Very interesting city with great historical points of interest and places to visit.
However, I was surprised by the amount of poor people wandering around and, to be honest, people who seemed to be suffering with mental illness. We absolutely loved our stay at the Morris. The location is very central and close to everything we wanted to see in Philadelphia.
The property itself was so cozy and beautifully decorated for the holidays. When we checked in, the host explained the story of the property to us and we felt like we were staying in a piece of history.
We also appreciated all of the Covid measures that were taken and felt very safe. The room was very spacious and comfortable. What a great stay! Service is amazing, the place is immaculate clean, the entrance is through the restaurant, the tables are like a little coffee shop in Paris and the lights around them in the patio are very cozy, remain me travel like I were in Europe, I love the plants in the entrance, very pleasant place to relax and enjoy. The bed is very comfy all in white, the bathroom is real marble impeccable.
Love full experience. I've stayed here with my friends since six years ago. All of them liked to stay here! And the staff's personality is great.

Location is superb. Spacious apartment with good sized beds. Close to busy street but noise insulation is quite good with double skin windows and I slept well. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in a spacious apartment with eating places all around? Acceptable cleanness.
Reasonable cost x benefits. A rare Motel6 with fridge and microwave Kamila at the reception desk was awesome. The room was HUGE! The location was right in Rittenhouse Square, so close to everything.
