The owner was extremely arrogant and presumptuous, commenting on his reputation and "his clientele". I have shopped in boutiques all over the world and have never been treated so poorly. I am more than willing to spend money on a quality product in a store where service and the customer is valued, which was not the case in Nuvo Moda. The owner asked me where I was from, but before I could respond said, "You must be from Seattle. I can tell by the way that you look.

He then said that he finds it difficult to communicate with people from Seattle because "we" are more interested in close-out department store purchases than quality and fashion. I have shopped in much more expensive boutiques in New York, London, Paris and Rome and have never been treated so disrespectfully.

His comments were unwarranted and cutting. I do not recommend anyone subjecting themselves to this treatment. Newest Styles — I love this boutique!

Mark always carries the newest styles. Actually, it seems like he knows the next trend way before it's even here. Their dress selection is great, and they also carry a great line of jeans.
